Music has always been a huge part of my experiences and I think it can really change a situation, define moments and solidify memories. Much of my personal memories are defined through songs or artists and travel is no exception. There are songs I will listen to that will take me back to a time or tunes that go perfectly with a moment. Some songs are just made for travel though; made for those moments when you are driving along the coast with the windows down (Chocolate – The 1975), walking in East London (Rebel Rebel – David Bowie), taking a train across India (India Summer – Jai Wolf), long haul bus journeys (Tiny Dancer – Elton John) or midnight flights (anything by Tor Miller). Over the years I have found the songs I will always listen to that seem to fit seamlessly into my personal travel soundtrack.
